Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I store my box once I receive it?
If you decide not to eat all your goodies in one go (no judgement here!) then make sure you keep your box in a cool, dark place, and out of sunlight. Don’t put it in the fridge or the chocolate will go out of temper.
  • What ingredients do you use?
I use whole fruits, natural essences and spices for flavouring my products. I hand mix all my decorative cocoa butter using fat soluble colour powder and cocoa butter. The chocolate I use is either Cacao Barry, or Callebaut, both of which are committed to being deforestation-free and carbon positive by 2025.
  • What is the shelf life?
The shelf life of your box is four weeks from production, however for the best possible consumer experience and delight, I recommend eating as soon as possible. Who likes waiting for treats!? :)
  • Do you have gluten and dairy free options?
Sadly no. All the Teacakes contain a shortbread biscuit which contains both dairy and gluten.
  • Is your product Vegan/Vegetarian?
Some of my products are! But not all of them, and as I am just a one-person business, I am unable to customise boxes at this point in time. If you have a catering or a larger custom order in mind, however, please get in touch!
  • Is your packaging recyclable?
The postage boxes, tissue paper and Teacake boxes are recyclable and largely made from sustainable and recycled content. The tape on your postal box and the sticker holding the tissue paper is printed with soy-based ink and is water-activated, which makes them biodegradable.
  • Do you make wedding/party favours?
I would love to supply you with some mallowy goodness for your special occasion! Please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Please note that due to the constraints of my kitchen I am unable to cater to dietary allergen requirements at this time, but I am able to cater to dietary decisions such as Veganism, or Vegetarianism.
  • Can you cater to allergens?
Sadly no. It isn't possible for me to ensure and promise zero allergen contaminants in my products.
